How does it work?

When conducting a mortgage valuation, our valuer will inspect your property and provide a range based on the property's condition, including an as-is appraisal, plus one that outlines the property's prospective value if suggested work is completed. For example, if a property has an old boiler, it may reduce the market value of the property in comparison to if the boiler is replaced.

Purchasers can attain a valuation before approaching a lender, but the lender may still wish to complete an independent valuation. However, getting a valuation before applying for a mortgage is an excellent way to determine whether it’s within your budget.
