Property valuations we offer

Make sure your property portfolio thrives

We have extensive property valuation experience and work with a portfolio of clients that includes freeholders, leaseholders, individuals, small businesses, property management companies, and corporations.

Whatever the size of your portfolio, we can complete an accurate and reliable property valuation.

Types of property valuation

We can conduct many types of valuation, which will help you to plan your business finances and the future of your property portfolio. Our valuations include:

Help to Buy Valuations
If you’re selling your Help to Buy home, then you’ll need an independent RICS-qualified Chartered Surveyor to provide a valuation of the property for you. Equally, you may want to change how much equity you own, either by repaying the loan early or buying more equity back, and this will need to be assessed against your property’s current market value.

Right to Buy Valuations
The Right to Buy scheme helps eligible council housing tenants to buy their home with a discount, we work with Local Authorities and Council tenants to ensure a fair and accurate valuation

Open Market (RICS 'Red Book') Valuations
Here at Morgan Sloane, we offer a variety of valuation services including open market valuations, also known as 'Red Book' Valuations.

Reinstatement Cost Assessment
It is essential that you regularly review the reinstatement cost of your building(s), especially if your property has undergone significant alterations. Otherwise, RICS recommend a reinstatement cost assessment every three years, which will help to ensure you remain fully insured.

Lease Extensions
Extending a lease is a complicated process and can be costly. At Morgan Sloane, we provide a best and worst-case-scenario valuation for a lease extension, so you know what to expect.

Freehold Enfranchisement
We are experienced in the field of freehold enfranchisement having acted on numerous transactions over the years. Our surveyors provide best and worst case figures in all cases and work closely with either your own solicitor or can recommend a firm to act on your behalf.

Ground Rent Valuation
Ground rent is the building block of a freeholder’s income, which is why it's crucial you ensure you're collecting the correct amount of rent. We recommend you review ground rent annually.
