Dampness in buildings is a very common complaint and one that as surveyors we are faced with on a daily basis, there are usually many causes of dampness and rarely is there a 'quick fix' solution. So when we came across this excellent video from our friends over at UK Centre for Moisture in Buildings (UKCMB) we just had to share it.
It explains in a non-technical way (mostly!) the causes of moisture problems (dampness) in buildings and what can be done to resolve them.
If your home is damp, this is a great way to start to understand its causes and solutions.
